What do you do at Skyscanner?**Currently I am doing work experience at Skyscanner. I am working in the marketing department doing various tasks in order to gain understanding and insight in this section of business. 2. What kind of flight geek are you? An impatient geek. As fun as it is to go on holiday the journey is always tedious. Six hours sitting on a plane is so frustrating.3. What best generally describes your travel style?I like to go to different places. I love going to castles, museums, cathedrals – anything historical I find fascinating. I look at different places to visit online before deciding where to go. My parents pay for holidays so they have final say in where we go. A major necessity of any family holiday is a golf course for my dad. 4. What’s your ideal holiday?Somewhere hot with lots of things to do nearby. I like to wake up in the morning and be able to decide what I want to do that day with lots of options and without having to sit in the car for an hour to get where I want to go. 5. Who’s your ideal travel companion? My friends. They are more fun to be around than my parents. They are more spontaneous and have better senses of humour. 6. Do you fly with children?Nope. 7. How do you decide where you want to go?Look at suggestions from other people, different countries from where I have previously been and different monuments/attractions that have been suggested. Ultimately my parents decide. 8. How do you decide when you want to go?Unfortunately school holidays dictate when I can go on holiday. 9. What annoys you most about planning holidays? The fact that golf courses must be involved!10. What’s your favourite thing about the Skyscanner site?It is easy to use and there are so many options. I like how you don’t even need to have decided on a destination. It allows people to see what places there are to visit that would be a change from their usual holidays. It basically opens up a whole list of options that people would otherwise not think of.11. What’s your dream feature? To be able to type in things that would attract you to an area, for example: beaches, architecture, museums.12. Favourite websites apart from Skyscanner and why?Facebook. It is an addiction I’m sure most teens will confess to. 13. What’s the geekiest thing about you? Your secret geek shame?I love thunder storms and when it rains really heavily. Scotland is clearly the right place to live. 14. Worst travel experience? Last year I was flying home from a ten day dance festival in LA. On the way home there was really bad turbulence for five hours which led to airsickness (something I had never experienced before). When we landed in terminal five I thought I would feel better, however solid ground had no impact. I spent the next two hours running in and out of the bathrooms.ReturnOne wayMulti-cityFromAdd nearby airports ToAdd nearby airportsDepart14/08/2019Return21/08/2019Cabin Class & Travellers1 adult, EconomyDirect flights onlySearch flights Maplast_img
