MUAMBA CONDITION IMPROVES: ‘YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING’ SAYS FIANCEE

first_imgBOLTON Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has thanked the public for their support and prayers after a huge improvement in the condition of Fabrice Muamba tonight.The 23-year-old suffered a heart attack in the FA Cup game against Spurs at the weekend.Manager Owen, whose parents were from Donegal and who has a large number of cousins and relatives in Gaoth Dobhair and Letterkenny, had asked people to pray for Fabrice. Tonight the London hospital and Bolton said his condition had improved.His fiancee, Shauna Magunda, the mother of his son Joshua, posted on said on Twitter tonight: “All your prayers are working people thank you so so much. Every prayer makes him stronger.”Manager Owen said: “Everybody is praying for Fabrice, which is very important and that has been a real source of strength to the family.”The club and the hospital said of the well-liked footballer: “Fabrice Muamba remains in intensive care at The London Chest Hospital. He is continuing to show signs of improvement this evening. “He is currently able to breathe independently without the aid of a ventilator. He has also been able to recognise family members and respond to questions appropriately.“These are all positive signs of progress.
